Wedding Day Tips
Decide whether you want to get ready alone, with a couple of friends or a room full of people. Choose a place with lots of natural light preferably, a nearby window always helps. Also consider a space big enough for everyone , bride, hair dresser, photographer, etc., to fit and move around comfortably.
HAIR & MAKEUP
Ask your hair and/or makeup artist for an estimated time on how long everything will take and consider at least an extra 30 minutes as a buffer.
Make sure to ask the church or temple you book whether photography is allowed and if there are any restrictions.
The rule of thumb is to start your outdoor ceremony about 2 hours (or less) before sunset, which will give you AMAZING light. You can do bridal party and family formals after ceremony to take advantage of the awesome light.
BRIDE AND GROOM PORTRAITS
This is one of the most important parts of your wedding day! It is important to consider around 45 minutes to 1 hour for this. We will guide you through the process to make this as quick as possible. Good portraits require patience, time and at time some an adventurous spirit.
It helps to make a list of family pictures so as not to forget any important family member. Our advice is to shoot immediate family after the ceremony and other family members during the reception. Make sure everyone that is needed knows when/where this will happen so they can be ready and make this as quickly as possible.
Let your wedding day unfold as it will and remember that things don´t always go as planned. Embrace this and focus on enjoying you big day.
